We had tourtiere, garden salad and pecan butter tart. Tourtiere crust was light and flaky, filling was great, butter tart was wonderful. Owner was gracious and helpful. Fifteen out of ten.
What an absolute waste of money and time! The place was packed so I opted for takeout which was totally fine to do but the size of the sandwich and the quality of it for $15 plus tax was a total rip-off. They also did not have a majority of the items on the menu that are stated. The online website. A place that's open until 3:00 p.m. for bakery and brunch should at least have eggs. Total disappointment would never go back again
Nice little cafe across the road from the lake in downtown Port Perry. Decor is a little tired and space is at a premium. Prices are quite reasonable. Very nice light menu, good food quality, and friendly staff help to explain why this small restaurant is so popular. Limited space and slightly restricted hours (our visit was in early March) make a reservation a good idea. The bake shop has some really nice items, but the cafe couldn't/wouldn't provide *any* bags, so it's pretty inconvenient if you want more than a single item to eat in your hand. Definitely worth a visit.
Indefinite home away from home. Whether you’re going for breakfast, lunch, or afternoon tea, this is the place to be. Great view, great customer service, and the food and drinks are amazing.
This is our second visit. We came in to the place @10:00 and placed our order within 5 minutes for breakfast and beverages. We did not get our beverages and we had to ask for it after 30 minutes, one pot of tea was warm, I had to go and ask for another. I asked the server when are we getting our breakfast, she said we are very busy and soon you will get it. Breakfast arrived at 10:43 and we left the establishment @11:08. Totally disorganised and I would not recommend this establishment at all.
Not a lot of vegan options, but the veggie sandwich was good! Employee was very nice and there's a lovely green space across the street where we ate our food
Medicore breakfast. Definitely not worth 30$. Was told we couldn’t use real plates or cutlery outside, however we did get real plates.. not sure why you can’t have real plates or cutlery outside but you can inside..? Forgot to bring us any condiments or cutlery initially until we asked. No one checked on us or ask if our meal was even good, most of the meal was lukewarm temperature. Maybe they are good for pastries but not for breakfast..
