I wish I could say I experienced the same level of service as other customers. But alas. I purchased a 2019 Mustang GT Premium w/ performance package on November 22nd 2025. While I am working with Taylor Ford to come to a resolution, the only solution presented to me so far is to jeapordize my safety to drive the vehicle, equipped with summer tires, 4 hours round-trip in the snow and freezing temps, to be inspected with no promise of addressing all of my concerns. Below is a list of issues I experienced with the delivery of the vehicle which indicate a complete disregard for customer care. 1. I was told verbally by the salesman that the vehicle received new brakes, tires, and front struts. The struts are not new, and only the rear tires were replaced despite the condition of the front tires (pictured) Update: Tires do pass safety, nobody knows why I was told what I was by the salesman. 2. There is a cracking/popping noise coming from the front-right when turning right at low speed and a harsh feeling over bumps at low speed. Update: Vehicle did pass safety but I still need to get this inspected. Have felt basically ignored on this point. 3. The battery is 6 years old, and is unable to start the car if it has been sitting for over 48 hours. Update: Was also ignored on this point. 4. The oil was not changed despite the oil life monitor indicating 14% left. According to carfax service records the oil was last changed ~10,000km ago. Update: According the the Service manager, oil was changed, oil life monitor was just not reset. 5. The cabin and engine air filters were not changed. Additionally, there is mouse droppings in the airbox (pictured) Update: They admitted a miss on this and provided compensation via Ford Pass rewards points. 6. I received one and a half keys (pictured) Update: They admitted a miss on this and provided compensation via Ford Pass rewards points. 7. The car was delivered with 3/4 of a tank of fuel. Because I guess filling it all the way for an extra $20 was too expensive? Update: Was ignored on this point as well. I don't even want compensation, just someone to acknowledge that this was a miss. 8. The trunk was not cleaned/vacuumed by the detailer (pictured) Update: Was ignored on this point as well. I also wanted someone to acknowledge that this was a miss. The treatment I've received from Taylor Ford so far is nothing short of disgusting. It feels like Taylor Ford cut corners and costs at every given opportunity. I get this isn't a $75,000+ F-150, but for a $35,000 vehicle, you'd think they could afford to throw a couple hundred bucks at providing a positive customer experience. It's a shame because the sales process was incredibly smooth and low-pressue. I just wish I didn't have to write this review.
I brought my Ford vehicle into this dealership’s service centre for a steering rack replacement, and the entire experience was incredibly frustrating from start to finish. When I picked up my car, I immediately noticed a scratch on my rim. I pointed it out before even leaving the lot, and the service manager Theresa documented it and assured me she would follow up. On my drive home, I noticed a new wobble that wasn’t present before. Once home, I looked underneath the car and found a chunk of 2x4 wood lodged against the underside of my frame, clearly used as a makeshift jack support. Completely unacceptable and unsafe. I brought the car back and reported everything to a service advisor. They took the vehicle in again for the wobble and claimed my wheels simply needed balancing. After the balancing, the wobble was actually worse than before. I ended up bringing my car to another shop for a second opinion, and they informed me that my rim was bent. The only real fix was replacing the rim entirely. Replaced the rim. The wobble is now gone, confirming the issue was never just “balancing” to begin with. Weeks passed with no follow-up about the damaged rim. I eventually called, and the service manager told me they “can’t confirm it happened in their care” despite telling me previously the technician had taken photos of all pre-existing damage elsewhere on the vehicle, yet somehow failing to photograph the rims. How oddly convenient of them. I escalated the situation to a higher manager, but all communication was redirected back to the same service manager who had already dismissed my concerns. After weeks of attempting to resolve the matter, they still refused to take responsibility. This entire experience was far from satisfactory, from poor communication, to questionable workmanship, to the serious oversight of leaving a potential projectile attached to the bottom of my vehicle. I would not recommend this service centre to anyone.
Super happy with my overall experience with Taylor Ford, from reception to sale, to financing. They really treat you like king. Environment is impeccable and the purchase process, including taking possession of my car was seamless and enjoyable.
Dealing with Taylor Ford of Port Perry has been a wonderful experience. From the new showroom to the wide selection of vehicles and the people working there. I was dealing with Bryce for my new F150 and Calvin on the financing. They were very professional and at no time did I feel pressured. I highly recommend dealing with this dealership for your future needs.
Took my car in for service, one day turned into two into 3 each time needs more part's needs more part's. finally get it back not fixed. went and checked my dash cam all i could see most of the time is the guy working on my car texting on his phone and making dirty comments to female employee's as they walk up to talk. This is what you are paying an huge money for!
Just posted wanted to say thank you to Brandon and the guys in the ‘lightning lane’ at Taylor Ford for exceptional service. Without a doubt the fastest, most professional ‘quick service” oil change I’ve ever had. Despite ‘only’ needed to change the oil, in no way was I made to feel as such. It was ‘way’ faster than the oil services-only chains and the professionalism is not comparable. It’s even more than what you would expect from a reputable dealer. From the greeting when you arrive to The comprehensive full body assessment (with incredibly detailed printout), everything was first-class. On top of that, I also received a complementary car wash (this is the only touchless car wash in Port Perry). While I was waiting, I had an extremely pleasant conversation with one of the sales staff inside the stunning new showroom. Simply put, the staff goes way out of their way to make experience great. While it may sound overboard, it’s not, the superlatives are well-deserved and I really couldn’t recommend Taylor Ford, more. *Addendum* I also had my car serviced a few months ago and unfortunately forgot to post the following. After my second straight phenomenal experience, I felt it was warranted: I recently had my car serviced at Taylor Ford and I was extremely impressed with the excellent service and customer service I received. From the moment I walked into the dealership, I was extremely well taken care of by Brandon and his staff. The service department was well-organized and efficient. They took the time to listen and thoroughly explained anything that needed to be done. Considering how well and smooth my car ran post-appointment, The technicians were obviously highly skilled and knowledgeable. Furthermore, everything was completed in expedited fashion so I was there less time then I anticipated. As a customer this is greatly appreciated. What truly stood out to me was the exceptional customer service I received. Throughout the entire process, the staff at Taylor Ford went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and informed. They provided regular updates on the progress. The staff was attentive, patient, and genuinely seemed to care about my satisfaction. They took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure I understood everything that was being done to my car. Overall, my experience at Taylor Ford was nothing short of excellent. The service was top-notch, and the customer service was outstanding. I highly recommend Taylor Ford to anyone in need of car servicing. They truly go above and beyond to ensure their customers are happy and satisfied.
What can I say! Teresa in service is awesome and looked after my f150 since new, so we decided to trade it in for something smaller so I went in and talked to Bryce. He was professional and patient He got us a beauty Bronco Sport. He gave us a great deal by us waiting and him watching. From the Service,parts and Sales has been a great experience and professional.
